Innovative products for mothers and babies

Nuvita is the Italian brand owned by Anteprima Brands International, a group operating on the international markets since 1994, leader in conceiving and developing hi-tech and lifestyle innovative products belonging to the consumer electronics business. The company has its headquarters in Malta and agencies in Hong Kong (China) and in Bologna (Italy). For more than 25 years with its own R&D centre in the East it has been collaborating with the most important developers of new technologies worldwide while in Europe a Product Design centre takes care of every stage of the projects, from the starting idea to the research on the functional implementations, to the definition of the aesthetic features, up to the final production. In 2010 two specific product lines were launched at the same time, Nuvita Baby devoted to baby care and Nuvita Med to electromedical equipment for health care. The Nuvita brand is at present distributed in 45 countries the world over.

In Italy, the Nuvita Baby line stands out for its broad assortment now including over 400 items covering 10 categories: pregnancy, breastfeeding, feeding, hygiene, wellbeing and health, Oral Care, baby monitors, mum’s bags and backpacks, travel and spare time accessories, stroller bags. “On the Italian market in the breastfeeding category with our electric breast pumps we are the leaders (source: GfK); we are remarkably strong as to bottle warmers and sterilizers and – among our most appreciated products – to baby cookers and to the electric toothbrush for babies and children”, reports Marco Viale, CEO. “Among the outdoor articles, our stroller bags boast a precious collection with trendy colours that vary every season”.

Lately, the company has started using recyclable raw materials: the stroller bags are now equipped with R-PET paddings with exceptional performances in terms of thermal protection.

“The entire line of electric breast pumps, where we were the first to introduce the ‘Third Phase’ against the risks of breast engorgements, has been renewed increasing the availability of customizable settings and making the products smaller, lighter and provided with rechargeable battery”, Viale informs. “As to milk bottles, we also offer them in glass with anti-colic valve in the bottom and with a special teat approved by the Italian Dentists Association (AIO). We have updated all the thermos flasks line with five brand-new models including a flask with built-in LED thermometer which shows the contents’ temperature. We have introduced the Oral Care line for the 4 months-5 years age range launching the only electric toothbrush for babies and children designed in cooperation with AIO.
