Growing demand for outdoor articles and board games

“We are a young and independent distributing company offering a wide range of educational and scientific games, products for babies and toddlers, model cars and wooden building sets, ride-ons, pedal karts, two- and three-wheeled scooters, trampolines, board games and logic games”, says Giovanni Segala, Sales Manager. “Among our best-known brands there are Globber, Yookidoo, ManCalamaro, Papo, Baby To Love, SentoSphère, Berg, Mic-O-Mic; and we handle many more”.
We ask Segala whether any meaningful development has recently emerged in the Italian toy market: “A trend we have noticed mainly during the last two years is strong demand for sport and outdoor toys and articles, in particular as regards Globber, our scooters brand; such growth is matched by the parents’ willingness to let their children learn the values of sustainable transport and travel”, he answers. “In a different category, another very strong trend concerns the demand for the SmartGames line of logic games and for the board games of our dedicated brand ManCalamaro, by which we are developing new products with Italian designers: games addressing kids and families”.
